Blacksmithing Course Questions

Q: Are we continuing to run courses that are out of stock?

A: yes very much so, if the course is listed on the website and you can view it, it means we are still running that course in future but  haven't put the new dates up just yet.

Q: How do I find out when new dates are announced?

A: the best way is to subscribe to our quarterly newsletter (found at the bottom of any of our webpages). The main focus of these is to release new course dates and new types of courses!

Q: Do we teach participants under the age of 18?

A: On our standard courses we only allow 18yr + to partake. We do offer private courses for parent and child or family days where the child can be 16+ (proof of age will be required) to book and enquire please get in touch.

Q: Do we teach courses for more advanced participants / more technically advanced courses?

A: Currently we only teach courses suitable for beginners, in future we aim to create courses that have certifiable qualifications in metalwork which will be suitable for those who wish to advance there skills beyond beginner level.

Q: Can I make what I want on courses? or is there a set lesson plan...?

A: All of our courses have a set lesson plan and you can only make what is in the remit listed for the day. Everyone turns out slightly different and we make sure you are able to put your own twist on your creation so it will truly be one of a kind! If you have something specific you wish to make then get in touch about a private course where we can make a lesson plan together of what you wish to create!

Q: If I have a voucher to use but the course is not in stock what do i do?

A: It is down to the participant to use the voucher before the expiration date, we release plenty of courses of each type per year to book onto, if you subscribe to our newsletter you will be the first to know when new dates are available and be able to book accordingly. If your in doubt just send us a message and we can assist.

Q: I have a voucher but wish to go on a different course than the voucher specified, is this possible?

A; Yes this is absolutely fine, if there is a price different then you will have to pay the difference however we cannot refund courses is you wish to go on a lower priced course. you will be able to use the remaining balance on the voucher to contribute to other Bill's Workshop courses & Products. If you wish to do this and the course is out of stock please inform us of the change of heart with a quick email as we prioritise course dates for courses that are more in demand at that point in time.
